Eternal Bracelet FAQ
What are Glambou Eternal Bracelets?
An Eternal Bracelet is a permanent bracelet made from a 14 carat gold chain that is worn on the wrist without a visible clasp. Spot welding is used to permanently close the bracelet into a continuous loop. This quick, safe and painless process creates a seamless design with no opening.
Where can I get a bracelet?
We offer our Eternal Bracelet Service permanently at Breuninger Munich (Thurs.-Sat. 12-5pm). From August 2024, this service will also be available at the newly opened Breuninger Hamburg in Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier. You can also find us in other pop-up stores - current locations and times can be viewed at any time in our booking portal.
How do I book an appointment?
You can easily book available appointments via our booking portal. You can access the portal via our online shop in the ‘Stores & Services’ menu under ‘Eternal Bracelets’.
How can I personalise my bracelet?
You can choose from a selection of 14 carat gold chains and have the length of your bracelet customised to fit your wrist. As a special eye-catcher, you can personalise your bracelet with charms, optionally made of natural gemstones, according to your wishes.
How much does an Eternal Bracelet cost?
You can choose from a selection of necklaces in our shops. The prices of the bracelets start at €179, regardless of the desired length. You can personalise your bracelet with charms, which start at €69 each. Would you like to have your Eternal Bracelet welded on together with your loved one? Then you will receive a 10 % discount on every second Eternal Bracelet!
Is it painful to attach?
No, the process is completely painless. Our trained experts ensure that your wrist does not come into contact with the welding machine during the entire process. A patch is placed under the wristband during the welding process to protect your skin.
Can I wear an Eternal Bracelet during an MRI, does it trigger the security check at the airport?
An Eternal Bracelet is made of 14 carat gold and is therefore non-magnetic. It can pass through airport security without any problems. However, you should generally not wear any permanent jewellery that contains metal when having an MRI. It is important to inform the attending physician or MRI staff about any jewellery or metallic objects. If you need to remove the Eternal Bracelet, you can cut it yourself with scissors or come to one of our shops. We offer free welding if you want to put it back on. If you have had your Eternal Bracelet attached during a temporary pop-up event, you can have it reattached by similar service providers or goldsmiths for a small fee.
Can it withstand water and strain?
Yes, the bracelet is water-resistant and will not tarnish. It can be worn permanently without any problems. As the bracelet is made of 14 carat gold and gold is a soft metal, you should protect it from strong friction and aggressive chemicals if possible.
How do I take care of my Eternal Bracelet?
If it looks a little dull due to sweat, creams or perfume, you can gently polish it with a gold polishing cloth or a cotton cloth. As a little household trick, you can use warm water and gentle soap to clean it. A piece of leather or woollen fabric also works wonders for polishing.
Is there a guarantee?
We are convinced of the high quality of our products and give you a two-year guarantee on all material and manufacturing defects. Excluded from this are lost pieces of jewellery and natural signs of wear and tear such as scratches, which are torn under circumstances for which you are responsible, e.g. due to getting caught.
